Why did you decide to join Tymeshift?
The answer for me is, why not? Everyone I interacted with during the recruitment process was great, and gave me an amazing and welcoming impression. I was immediately sure it was going to be a great learning experience. By the end of the recruitment process, it was obvious to me that if an offer was going to be made I would accept it.
What are your main responsibilities?
As an Account Executive, I am in constant contact with prospects to show them how great Tymeshift is and why they should join!
How was your onboarding process?
It was the easiest and most organised onboarding I’ve ever experienced! Everyone was so willing to get to know me better and support me at all times.
What are the biggest challenges in starting to work remotely? Did change something in your lifestyle?
In this particular case, it was so much easier than I imagined. Everything was virtual but we keep in touch so much by video call or messaging daily that most of the people I did not meet yet, I feel I already did.
How is your daily routine?
Well, it is a routine of checking and answering emails, calls with the team and a very important part – speaking with prospects.
How do you keep in contact with your team?
As mentioned before, we are in constant contact, by video call, by email and by Slack. We are all very active and responsive, so it is very easy to keep in touch and feel included.
What is the biggest advantage of starting to work remotely at a company?
For me, the biggest advantage is that I challenge myself many times. I do not have people right next to me to observe how they do their job or how they speak with prospects, so I find my own way to do things and that is a great learning process.
How did Softlanding support you in this stage?
Well, the moment in my life that Softlanding showed up, it was crucial. I was interested and looking for a new challenge and they approached me with a great position. Caetana kept me updated all time during the recruitment process, supported me in the next steps and gave tips and advice. The Softlanding team was great and a fundamental piece of this process.
